Greetings to all, I hope this message finds you in good health.
The visit from Santa Claus at the December meeting was truly exciting! The families and children from our Language Center had a great time as did all who were present. Thank you to Gina, Fardowsa and Ruth for their efforts in organizing this event.
Get your calendars out and mark them for the Stated Meeting on January 9, 2011. That is a special night for as our new officers will be in their respective offices that evening. Speaking of the new officers, the y will be installed in their respective offices on Sunday January 8, at 1:00 PM at the El Bekal Shrine Center. Please come out and share this moment with your Masonic Family.
Recently you have heard many discussions regarding our financial situation. Our new officer corps is submitting a budget that will go along way in preserving our economic health. One of the significant changes is that the Valley office will only be open for 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday. In addition, we are continuing to get email addresses from you so that we may send the newsletter electronically rather than through the U. S. Mail. Be assured however that not having an email address will not preclude you from receiving the newsletter each month. We could easily save over $300 per month if we are successful in this endeavor alone!
Other ways you can help the Valley are the recycling program by bringing recyclable items to the monthly meeting, joining the Century Club and by bringing a member into the Valley.
I extend my thanks to Honorable Brother Gene Harp, 32° Knight Commander of the Court of Honour, for his dedication to the Rite this last year. My Brothers, Sisters and Friends, we are indeed fortunate to have him as part of our Masonic family. We should express our appreciation to Honorable Gene Harp, 32 KCCH and his line of Officers for their hard work
I look forward to seeing you in 2012 as we all seek further light in Freemasonry.
Get involved, my Brother, and you too can make a difference!

I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older. Then, it dawned on me; they were cramming for their fi-nals. As for me, I’m just hoping God grades on the curve!
