Dear Scottish Rite Members;
Do you remember why you joined Scottish Rite Masonry? I remember why I joined. I was at a point in my life where I was looking for someway to create better friendships. I knew a few members of the Scottish Rite and I liked what they repre-sented in Masonry. To this day that is still the reason I am member. I enjoy the friend-ships that I have made and will treasure them until the day I die.
A few months ago I joined another group that included men only. I found some-thing in this group that I would like to see happen in our Valley. I missed a meeting and got a call. Not only one call but 3 or 4 calls from different members asking me how I was. This really made me feel like the members of this group cared about me.
I was thinking each one of us has a friend or two that is a member of the Valley. When was the last time you called them or sent them an email when they missed a meeting? When was the last time you felt like you actually mattered to the Valley?
Why not call a friend and show up at our January meeting?
