Barry McKinley, 32°
Master of Kadosh
Dear Brothers of the Orange County Scottish Rite,
As we reach the midpoint of the year, I find myself reflecting on the remarkable progress and growth we have achieved together. It is truly inspiring to see how our valley has flourished over these past six months, and I am filled with pride and gratitude for the dedication and commitment of each and every one of you.
The first half of the year has been marked by numerous memorable events, from the cap and ring ceremony for our newest Masters of the Royal Secret to the engaging Blue Slipper Club activities that have brought our community closer together. Each meeting and event has demonstrated the unwavering strength of our brotherhood and our shared commitment to the principles of Freemasonry.
I am particularly proud of the way our attendance has steadily increased, reflecting the enthusiasm and engagement of our members. This includes the active participation of our ladies, whose involvement enriches our gatherings and strengthens the bonds within our Masonic family. As we look ahead to the remainder of the year, I am excited about the opportunities that lie before us. We have many more occasions to come together, learn from one another, and continue building a strong and vibrant valley. If you have not yet.
I would like to give a big thank you to Commander Alejo Velarde, Brother Matt Schrader and Brother Ryan Gonzales in assisting with the physical move of our General Secretary’s office. Also a big thank you Honorable Jamie Hopkins in packing up the office as well.
Thank you all for your continued support and dedication. Together, we are creating a bright and promising future for the Orange County Scottish Rite.
